Bell (1999) has summurises one way of analysing the qualitative data by telling stories.
1) Identify narrative segments in the interview transcripts.
2) Examine word choice, pharsing, imagery, and structure of clauses.
3) Focus on the telling of the story: how do people explain what they did, or what happend?
4) Examine how the stories relate to each other.
5) Look for connections between the personall accounts and boader cultural and politcal processes.
6) Locate yourself, as the reseacher in the analysis and the contruction of the stories.
